Rebel Rebel Studio & Lounge has partnered with First Friday Berea to create a unique music-focused internship for girls and non-binary teens - REBEL REBEL SCHOOL FOR GRRRLS! The experience will center female empowerment AND provide opportunities to be in the room with women leading the Kentucky music scene! At the end, teens will plan their own event as a community celebration of what they've learned.
Five local high school students will gain hands on experience with event production and promotion, marketing, creative placemaking, community development and more! It will bring them closer to the community around them, allow them to work with diverse talent, get mentorship from seasoned event producers, try new things and gain skills that will enhance their future careers and personal experiences.
